Retained search terms for Confluence 🙌
Hi Community 👋
I’m Christina Ristevski, a Product Manager working on Confluence Cloud Search. I’m excited to share a new search feature with you all!
Have you ever landed on a page via Confluence Search and realized, actually no this isn’t the right page I was looking for, only to go back to an empty search bar with your previous search query missing. You then would have to retype your query and re-assess which results you had previously landed on.
Well fear no more, we now retain your search query (and any selected filters) in the search bar in order to make it easier for you to continue your search or reformulate your query.
We understand there is so much more we can do with search, this is just one of the first steps towards improving your search experience.
This feature is currently still rolling out so if you don’t see it on your Confluence Cloud instance today, it should come to your site soon.
