Hi Atlassian Community,
My name is Sekajipo Taplah, and I’m a Product Manager on the Confluence Cloud team.
We’ve heard your feedback about related pages and are releasing a small update to help clarify why a page is suggested as further reading.
Each related page now has an explanation for why it is suggested underneath it. Check out our support article for more information.
This update is rolling out now, so you should see it on your instance soon.
As a reminder, there are a few requirements for when related pages will appear.
Related pages will only show on pages that have content—that is, aren’t empty or only include macros.
Blog posts will not show related pages, but can be included in the suggestions on a page.
A page has to have been read by more than one person and looked at for more than a few seconds before suggestions start populating.
You’ll only ever see suggestions for related pages that you have access to.
Please keep those questions and feedback coming! We’re continuing to iterate on this feature and would love to hear your thoughts.
