πŸŽ‰ Automation for Confluence improvements to Branch limits and CQL validations! πŸ“£

πŸ‘‹ Community, Avinoam from Automation for Confluence with another update.

I'm here today to announce that we've increased all Branch type limits to 150 and have improved CQL validations along with content results!

Branch limits

For those of you who may not be as familiar with Branches in Automation for Confluence, Branch components are a type of component that allows you to perform actions on multiple pieces of content simultaneously. For instance, you can iterate over a list of pages and apply labels to them.

In total, we provide 3 branch components:

  1. For each page

  2. For each task

  3. Related entities

Previous vs new branch limits

Branch type  Previous limit  New limit
 For each page 25 150
 For each task 20  150
 Related entities 100 150

CQL Validations

CQL can be used in the following branches and conditions today to fetch certain content:

  1. Branch rule / related entities
  2. CQL condition

We've added the ability to not only get validation on your CQL query, but we'll now also show you how many content results match it, and you'll also be able to see those results in a new tab - similarly to the way your can with JQL in Automation for Jira today.

When it will be available?

This is becoming available today to all Confluence Premium and Enterprise customers!

We want to hear from you!

We’d love your feedback so please feel free to schedule time with us directly here or drop a comment on this post

Hey @Avinoam

This is great to hear that the validation is here. I think this will help users get their CQL right first time. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the future improvements with A4C & CQL :)
