Hey Confluence Community!
Ellie here from the Confluence Product Marketing team 👋 I’ve got a question for you! We’re on a mission to understand all the ways Confluence is used across different organizations.
We know that many tech teams today use Confluence for their documentation and knowledge wiki needs. We’d love to know: what other teams at your company use Confluence, and for what?
We’ll go first. At Atlassian, every team — tech and business teams alike — uses Confluence almost daily.
Our Marketing teams use Confluence to plan, strategize, and share out details on our campaigns and programs. Our content and design teams particularly love to use Databases to organize and track assets, while our PMMs (like myself!) collaborate on a multitude of project pages, messaging docs, and strategy pages.
Our innovative Product and Engineering teams, of course, love to use Confluence to collaborate on PRDs, brainstorm solutions on Whiteboards, map out the product roadmap, and everyone's favorite ritual: ✨ retros ✨
Our meticulously organized Program, Project, and Campaign Managers find the most value in using Confluence alongside Jira for a complete and end-to-end project management experience. They find all of the context they need in Confluence pages, while they help keep all of us on on track with task management in Jira. A win-win for all!
And last but not least, our beloved HR & People team utilize Company Hub to share out important company announcements, information on policies, and a searchable wiki for FAQs and company information to help us employees self-serve answers whenever we need it.
These are just some examples of how different teams at Atlassian use Confluence. But all of us, whether you’re on our Finance team, Legal team, or even Sales team, use Confluence everyday to collaborate with our teams and cross-functional partners to help share knowledge and push work forward.
How does your company use Confluence today? Let us know in the comments! ❤️
