The Page Link field enables us to create new pages, based on a specific template.
Maybe I do not see the whole picture, but it seems impossible now to create new pages starting from the dbase, based on a template of choice. Or you create one with a predefined template, or you create an empty page, that, once opened, does not suggest the standard list of templates anymore.
So, this is the suggested option list to predefine the initial content property for the page link field:
> Database entry macro
> Create from predefined template
> None (empty page)
Suggestion: > Create page and have the creator select the template
