Hi there,
when I embed a database value anywhere in Confluence, it is displayed with a surrounding frame with the database name in the header.
Is there any way to just display the value inline, so that it appears as if it would be natively in this context?
Something like "This is the text in which the <value> should be embedded"
We'd like to use it this way to create a database as a repository for project-wide definitions, values, numbers, responsibilities etc. and in the context where these items are referred to, just point to the according database value.
Thanks for your ideas and best regards,
Stefan

Same need here. We also would like to be able to remove the surrounding frame for complete databases published on pages. It's just ugly.

as we can see from the other users answers, being able to post database field values inline in other Confluence contexts is a much requested feature.
Can you please shed some light on whether this is on your (short-term) feature list, or if we have to look other ways to meet our needs?

I really wish instead of embeds, we were showing query responses from the DB on other pages.
It's cool to be able to update from the embedded database, but most of my use cases don't actually need (or want!) that.

I requested something similar here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-Databases-questions/Feature-Request-quot-Live-Embedding-quot-of-individual-fields/qaq-p/2689670

I'd really love to see this as well. The smart link stuff is all very cool, but a read only option for embedding databases would be great - with the option to filter the information as well.
