REST API to extract Confluence page or space in xml or pdf format

Hi All, 

Is it possible to generate single page or specific space level exports from the cloud instance to xml format (or other formats too) via Confluence REST APIs? - The reason why I ask about this option is that if the customer has got large amounts of data - the back up generation of the entire cloud site would take too long, hence exploring if only some business critical elements (like some specific confluence spaces or data updated in Jira in last 3 months) could only be backed up automatically & regularly via REST APIs or writing some custom scripts?

Wanted to know if this is possible at all in Cloud as I bumped across this feature request that seems to suggest this is not available in cloud yet - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-40457

If this is the case, any pointers or workaround ideas that anyone can share?
