Old school inline link to new child page

Sean Ogden January 21, 2020

Old school confluence allowed you to simply type [Text to be displayed|ChildPageLink],

you could then publish the page and a link would be created that you could select and it would create a child page. Great for document decomposition.

I can't for the life of me find the equivalent function in the current version.

I'm trying real hard not to Flame.  Please don't tell me I have to exit, create a child page, re-enter the parent and edit the link.

EDIT: Just discovered the Create>Blank Page (Old) has the behaviour I expected.  Atlassian WTH. Improvement my foot.

I'll accept this is a work around.

If anyone else reaches this 'answer', please take the effort to go to CONFCLOUD-67129 and vote it up.  This regression needs to be put right.

Actually, the work around does not work. See the issue and my comment there.
