LUCIDCHART INTEGRATION

Hi , 

We would like to install LUCIDCHART diagram connector however clicking install pops up these details among which delete data from host applicaition. Will that delete existing data on install. Please advise. Thanks,

Lucidchart Diagrams Connector will perform the following actions:

• Delete data from the host application
• Write data to the host application
• Read data from the host application

@Adil Iqbal It is prompting you to agree to allow the application to perform the following actions on your instance.  You will be giving the app the ability to perform those actions once it installs.

so just to confirm it wont delete any existing data in the app ?

@Adil Iqbal What data are you concerned about being deleted?  When you install the app you are giving it permission to do so.  Once it is installed someone could delete a chart from Confluence and it would delete it from Lucid.  Or you could delete it in Lucid and it would be removed in Confluence.  At the time of installation, it should not be deleting anything unless you had the app installed before at which point it would probably delete the information associated with that lucid account if it is different from the old install.

Thats clear now.. We do have app already installed so in that case it could probably delete old data .

@Adil Iqbal you have the app already installed in Confluence?  This would only impact Confluence on install.  After install it would only impact lucid if someone took action in Confluence to do a delete.  If you are already using lucid and want to see those charts in lucid it will not delete all your charts when you install the app on Confluence.
