Hi
I have a Confluence table with multiple rows and columns. I need to copy the contents of a particular column, cell by cell, to JIRA. Row1 Col 1 to be copied to JIRA Ticket 1 Description field, Row2 Col1 to be copied to JIRA Ticket 2 description field, and so on.
Content in Col1 is rich text - bold, italics, bullets etc. I wish to preserve the formatting when I paste to JIRA Description field.
The issue is that when I copy the content into JIRA, its pasted (ctrl v) as a table with 1 row and 1 column, which I dont want. If I try ctrl-shift-v, then the content is pasted as text, but I lose all formatting.
Is there a way to paste the *cell* content from Confluence page to the JIRA Description field, preserving the formatting, but not creating a table.
Hi @Phalgun Maddali ,
