How do I link to an existing attachment in the new editor?

In the new Confluence editor, when I click the button in the toolbar to add a link to a file or attachment in the new editor, it only shows me recent files.  It doesn't allow me to choose from files previously attached to the page if they aren't in my recent list.

Is there something easy I'm missing?  How can I add a link to my Confluence page to an existing attachment?

I always grab the hyperlink from the item I want to link to and paste it in when creating a link. You should be able to do that for attached files too, I believe.

This is another backward step. What if you have multiple links? Are you going to go back and forward from edit mode to the attachments page and copy each link one by one? This would require multiple publishes. Filenames saved on the attachments page DO NOT APPEAR in the list when using the Link button!

@Camouflage - Open 2 tabs at the same time, 1 with attachments and the other on the page, then when you edit the page you can copy from the other tab.
