External link open in new window - (Confluence cloud)

I read the suggestion that was posted in 2018. It still seems that "open in new tab" is still not available for Confluence Cloud. Am I wrong?

Hi @Rob Hilsky

If you're referring to CONFCLOUD-11194 it's not available and closed as "Won't Fix"

The workaround is to use Ctrl + Click / Cmnd + Click when opening a link or use a browser add-on or similar.

You could also check-out Linking for Confluence - this was suggested on CONFCLOUD-11194 but wasn't available on Cloud at the time (it is now).
