[AI in Confluence Automation] Welcome to Beta!

Hey Community 👋, Avinoam from Automation for Confluence here.

I am super excited to introduce AI in Confluence Automation! Creating automation rules is at the core of the everyday automation experience, and we want to make this even easier for you by adding AI to the Automation rule builder in Confluence. Now, you can easily create automation rules by simply typing in and describing what you wish to automate, and let Atlassian Intelligence handle all the heavy lifting of creating the rule for you!

How to enable Atlassian Intelligence beta:

1. Go to admin.atlassian.com in Confluence.

2. Locate the Atlassian Intelligence section and the option to Activate.

   1. For those on admin.atlassian.com, you’ll see a list of products in your organization that you can activate Atlassian Intelligence. Choose as many products as you’d like to activate Atlassian Intelligence for. ℹ️ Only products that have Atlassian Intelligence features available are shown here.

3. Once enabled, every user on your site will have access to Atlassian Intelligence!

Here's how to use this feature:

1. Enable Atlassian Intelligence for Confluence using the steps above. 

2. Navigate to the Automation in the sidebar nav. This will land you right in the Templates tab.

3. Click on the input box beneath Start Automating with Atlassian Intelligence to begin typing.

4. Describe the rule you want to create, including a trigger and action. You can use one of the examples provided or write your own rule.

5. Select Preview rule to begin creating your rule.

6. Check the summary of the rule generated by Atlassian Intelligence and add any missing components or details.

7. Once you’re happy with your configuration, select Enable rule.

8. Your rule will now be enabled and visible in the rule library.

Tips for using AI in Confluence Automation more effectively

For a rule to be successfully created, all its components must be supported by Confluence automation. This means that any triggers, actions, conditions, or branches in your rule must be compatible with Confluence automation. With the exception of the components mentioned below, Atlassian Intelligence can support any components in the following list here: Components – Confluence automation | Cloud automation Cloud | Atlassian Support

 Atlassian Intelligence doesn’t currently support the following components:

• Incoming webhook trigger

• Create variable action

• Send web request action

• Create lookup table action

We are unable to activate this product. When we go to follow the instructions there aren't any options to enable it even after clicking/selecting our Confluence site. Can a screen grab be shared as to what we should be seeing?
