We are not part of the beta program for Compass, but we're interested in trying it out in our Sandbox environment. This doesn't seem to have the same enablement process as Atlassian Intelligence or Confluence Databases. A user needs to sign up for it, how does that work for the site as a whole? Is the signed-up user the only one to see/access the product, or is it simply enabled for the entire site where all users will see it from product dropdown menu?
Also is is possible to enable it for only the sandbox site?

Different from Atlassian Insights/Assets, which is a feature inside Jira, Atlassian Compass is a separate product. You need to sign up for it on the official Atlassian Link:
https://www.atlassian.com/software/compass
The product will be enabled for the entire site and al admins will have access to it. Like all other Atlassian Products, in case you want to allow other users to access it, you can do so by going into your User Management section and granting access individually or making the entire company able to access it.
I kindly suggest checking the pricing tier before doing so.
