🐠 On June 8, every "like" removes a pound of ocean plastic!

The day is here! It's June 8 in Sydney which means it's time for World Oceans Day!

You can earn the Ocean Devotion badge up to 100 times on World Oceans Day and remove 100 pounds of ocean plastic by liking any post or giving kudos to any user. Why not start by checking out the previous post with ways to remove some bonus ocean plastic and liking all the comments you see? 😉

You can check out the countdown on the badge in your Kudos window - as you can see in the screenshot below, it's already been earned (as I am writing this) almost 400 times, plus 13 bonus pounds have been removed from actions in the previous thread.  It's not too late to remove bonus plastic with a share or a local cleanup of your own.

                           

Remember, anyone who earns it the maximum of 100 times will earn a bonus.

Unfortunately, I'm caught up in workshops and a long commute today, but my 💙 goes out to this great initiative once more. Apart from doing a simple 👍 to actually contribute to a cleaner planet, this is also a great opportunity to discover valuable Community content that may otherwise remain nicely wrapped in plastic 😉 - So go and unwrap (and clean up nicely afterwards!)
