license installation problem

My company recently purchsed a 10-user license for Stash server for Windows. I have the Evaluation version installed, but when I do "Edit License" putting in the new license key won't recognize the new 10-user license when I enter it in the license field. After I put in the license it displays:

The provided license does not include an active Stash license and cannot be used

Do I have to remove the Eval edition in order to enter the new license? Please advise.

Hi Farah,

That doesn't sound right, you shouldn't need to remove anything. However that error will happen if the license is "decodable" but not a valid _Stash_ license (or inactive). Are you sure it's the correct license you're copying?

Do you mind raising a support ticket and attaching your logs and license?
