kanban and agile boards?

Now I use a kanban board, we are switching to an Agile board, but there are fears that when a new board is created in the project, all tasks in the kanban will be lost.

Will the current tasks in the Kanban board be lost if I create a new Agile board in an existing project?

No, your original Kanban board will remain in tact and can continue to be used if needed. You can work in both boards if you like. The tasks and stories are independent of the boards.
