What bitbucket backup strategies did you use for bitbucket with database in different server?

Hi,

We have bitbucket server running in one VM and the database for bitbucket runnning in other VM. What backup strategy would be the best for this kind of architecture?

I have been looking @ bitbucket-DIY backup but I face some issues executing the scripts.

At my previous company we used Veeam to backup our VMs.
