Way to convert stash task into JIRA issue

Richard Comblen

Hi,

I've recently discovered the Stash tasks feature http://blogs.atlassian.com/2014/09/stash-3-3-track-pull-request-progress-tasks/

In my team, the process is the following:

  1. Developer creates the pull request
  2. Reviewer reviews, and creates Stash task for things to be fixed
  3. Developer fixes some of the Stash tasks.
  4. The remaining are converted into JIRA tasks and added to the backlog.
  5. Reviewer approves and merges the pull request

This process makes sure all problems raised by the reviewer are properly taken into account.

As far as I know, there is no easy way to do step 4. It would be great to be able to create a JIRA issue from a Stash task.

Any plan to get that implemented ?

Seconded, we're looking to do exactly the same thing in our organization.
