I have invited a new user to join our bitbucket repository. He is getting "user already exists" error messages.
My bitbucket is the community edition with 5 free users. There are exactly three members currently in bitbucket, plus this one pending invite.
Where to do? What to do?
What is the exact error message the user received? It sounded like the user received the "That username already exists" error.
If yes, this means the username the user wanted to use has already been taken. Username is first come, first served.
So if someone else has already used it, the user needs to use a different unique username. Maybe add some number at the end of the username etc.
