We use BitBucket App Password to authenticate a third-party tool, but it turns out we need slightly more permissions than we assigned during the creation of the App Password in BitBucket.
Is there any way to edit these permissions?
Hi, Boris! Welcome to the community!
It’s no possible to adjust the permissions of an App password after you create it. They are essentially designed to be disposable, so if you need to change the scopes or lost the password, you can just create a new one.
In case you would like to read more about App passwords, you can access this documentation:
Please, feel free to share any additional questions or concerns regarding this subject.
Kind regards,
Caroline
