I have created a main branch and am working on it successfully. After configuring the workflow and default branch to 'main', I am still having my repo saying that 'master' is the main branch in BitBucket Cloud and cannot delete it. This is not correct behaviour.
Could you please confirm where exactly you are seeing the word master in Bitbucket UI? You can share a screenshot if you want (hiding any private information).
