Hi,
I'm not able to manage an existing workspace. This workspace was created by a former colleague. I am admin for my company and want to be able to gain access to this space as soon as possible.
G'day, @Pat Deman
Only the workspace administrator has the authority to grant you administrative permissions. I recommend reaching out to your previous team to assist in providing you with administrative access.
Regards,
Syahrul
Hi Syahrul,
That is the main issue. The workspace administrator is not longer reachable.

Hi @Pat Deman
Atlassian is not in a position to resolve disputes between independent parties or grant unauthorized access to content not registered under your name. If you would like access to another user's account or data, you will need to obtain that user's permission by reaching out to them. Or provide us with a valid court order directing Atlassian to grant you the access you seek.
To protect our customers’ rights, we scrutinize all requests, including court orders, to ensure that they comply with the law. Please note that Atlassian is not able to provide you with any legal advice regarding what constitutes a valid court order.
To familiarize yourself with Atlassian terms of service please refer to Cloud Terms of Service.

Hi Syahrul,
I do understand for the 100% your reaction/opinion. As already mentioned I am not in the possibility of reaching my developper who initialy setup this workspace due to mental health issues. Being org admin for the current Atlassian products we are currently using does not prove that I'm in the position to ask for granting rights for the code my developper stored on Bitbucket after all.
I'm afraid that the only solution will be to setup a new workspace and migrating all our code?

Hi @Pat Deman
Absolutely, that's one of the viable options if you can clone the repository.
Alternatively, you could consider recreating the admin email, provided you can access the email domain. Once you've done this, you can request a password reset and log into the user account, grant admin access to your account, and then remove the old admin.
I hope this helps!

Syahrul

I will try the admin recreation-way. Would it be possible to send me the email which was used for the admin? There were several in use for that user. Plz sent this by PM
