Unable to connect Bitbucket Cloud repositories - Linked repositories

Hi Team,

We have configured Atlassian Bamboo version 9.2.1 build 90201 in Linux Machine (Ubuntu) but while linking bitbucket repository with uname/passwd we are experiencing connectivity issue, it say's "Failed to load data from Bitbucket. 401 Unauthorized". Even tried using ssh-key but no luck.

For uname/passwd, we tried provided bitbucket profile username but it says invalid username.
Kindly assist to establish connectivity.

Although it does work for app-password (created at Bitbucket level)

Hi @Mayur Maru

This is actually expected behaviour. We have deprecated the usage of username/password for authentication over HTTPS in favour of App Password, you can read about it in our blog announcement below from 2022:

I would suggest to continue using App Password for authentication.

Cheers!
