Syntax highlighting style used by highlight.js

Matthew Hobbs
January 8, 2014

Hello,

Is there an option in the stash config where you can set which style highlight.js uses? I guess it would be a global style rather than a per langage setting. Is this option available? Or is it just a case of updating the CSS file that highlight.js uses?

Thanks!

Hi Matthew,

You're the first person I've seen ask actually. Currently we only have the one hardcoded style and it can't be toggled. I imagine the idea is that it matches the standard Stash theme. You could theoretically override it with CSS hacks in your own plugin, or update the css file directory (stash/static/lib/highlight/styles/idea.css).

If you do decide to update the file remember that you will need to reapply/copy your changes each time you upgrade Stash.

Cheers,

Charles
