Hi,
I have deleted the customer repository we were hosting for the customer in our bitbucket cloud repository , is there a way to recover the repositories and the branches it contained with all the feature development. The repository is called "Utility_Manager" deleted 02/24/2022, is there a way we can restore them back. This will help us to address the audit finding by our quality team with regards to data security and data retention.
Hi @SureshMuniswamy ,
unfortunately you can to that. Take a look to the following article https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/can-i-restore-a-deleted-repository-or-commits/

Hi @Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_ ,
I understand that we need to take backup from our side but i assume that out data is backed up for last 7 days at Atlassian and since my repository was deleted last week 02/24 within the 7 days window it should recoverable.
I was able to recover back a similar situation where one of my branch was deleted and it got recovered last weekend by one of the tech support guys .
Let me know your through if its feasible to recover as this is customer repository for the new product development and 10+ engineers are getting effected by this

@SureshMuniswamy did you manage to recover your repository?
p.s. In the future, you could use dedicated repo and metadata backup tools for the marketplace - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1225728/gitprotect-io-backup-for-bitbucket
