Hi, we are facing perfomance issues.
Elastic search needs most of the time around 50% of the cpu of our server which hosts bitbucket. It is an AWS t2.large instance with 2 cores and 8 GB ram.
Can you check if this a reasonable amount of CPU load? Do you have information what influences the cpu load of elastic search?
Would be great if you can give us a hint, if we should take a look for misconfiguration or use a bigger instance.
Thanks
Martin

Hi Martin, have you checked if the Elasticsearch log is growing in size? You can send us the bitbucket_search.log, omitting any sensitive information that might appear there.
Hi Ana,
thanks for your reply.
Our elasticsearch log is actually growing in size fast. Is this a common error? Is there a standard fix?
I will look into it in the next days. My workaround for now is to use a bigger instance and deleting the logs regulary.
