long.pham January 30, 2020

Currently i can not push sourcecode to the repository, because it is over the size limit (2 GB) and will not accept further additions. In local its showing 5mb. In server 2.14 GB. I don’t understand. Could you help me out.

Message from Bitbucket: https://prnt.sc/quvj6q
Running “git count-objects -Hv” in local: https://prnt.sc/quvjlf

Hello @long.pham,

Welcome to the Community.

I just triggered GC for the repo in question, it reduced to 4.4Mb.

Note though that, as mentioned in this document, the right thing to do is to raise a support ticket for running GC after you reduced your repository – this is mainly because of two reasons:

  • support cases are closely monitored
  • they are private, unlike questions in Community

Cheers,
Daniil
