Obtain PR Title from Bitbucket Pipeline

I have a pipeline that runs a script when pull requests are merged to the master branch. I want to obtain the title of that PR so I can use it to rename the generated artifact at the end of the deployment script. I know I can use the BITBUCKET_PR_ID variable to obtain the PR's ID, but I can only use this variable on pull request pipelines, and not the branch pipeline I'm using.

Any suggestions?

Hi, @Kevin Shelley! Welcome to the community!

In order to better understand your use case, would you mind sharing your YAML file with us?

In case you don't want to share this here, I see that all the repos you have access to are under a workspace that is on the Premium plan, so I would suggest that you open a support ticket with us, so we can access this YAML file internally to further understand your business case and better guide you on this.

You can open a support ticket via https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/, in "What can we help you with?" select "Technical issues and bugs" and then Bitbucket Cloud as the product. Please make sure to also give the repository name in question. The support ticket will be visible only to you and Atlassian staff, and with an open support ticket, the engineer handling your case will be able to access the YAML file and help you.

Please feel free to share any questions or concerns regarding this case.

Kind regards,
Caroline
