Hello,
I forgot my BitBucket password, but I´m able to login with gmail. I can´t change my BitBucket password because I don´t receive the reset link on my email (a gmail apps email). I tried many times, but the mail never appears on my account. I checked on spam folder too
How can I reset my password?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Diego,
I checked and I see that your email address (the one you're using to post here) has been blocked by the system. This is because the first time we tried to email you, Google returned a message saying your email address doesn't exist in their system.
I've removed the block now, so you can try to send a password reset email at this time.
If you're using a different email address than the one listed here, then I would recommend raising a support ticket and safely send the email address there to us. Then we can do the same and check our system to see if there's a block on that address.
Thank you!
Shannon

I have the same problem.
I am trying to reset my password here in Atlassian but I couldn't received any verification email on my end.
I use login to google before because our company email server was integrated to google. Now that we transfer our email services to outlook. We can't use login to google anymore.
My problem now is I didn't know what was my password during the login process because it was handled by google in the background. I was just automatically log in. But now I need to log in using the email and password. That is why I am requesting a password reset link but I never received it.
Please help

Hi Yves,
Are you able to raise a support ticket at support.atlassian.com? The engineers will be able to obtain your email address from you and see why the verification email isn't going out to you.

Hi Yves,
I see that a Customer Advocate has been in touch with you, and is awaiting your reply. I followed up with them to tell them you aren't getting the email, so they will proceed with forwarding your request to the Cloud support team.

@Shannon S I am facing the same problem. I am unable to receive any notification mail from bitbucket. I can't set my 2 step verification due to this and I am stuck on this. Please help to resolve this on priority.

@Shannon S - A colleague of mine seems to be having the same issues and I was unsure of how to resolve. I've tried logging into her account myself to reset it there, but no luck.
Perhaps you can assist us? Her email is ljensen@mirion.com. I've sent her numerous password reset links and she hasn't received them. And she has checked her junk as well.
Let me know.
Thanks so much,
Christina

Hi Christina,
You'll want to raise a request at support.atlassian.com so our Cloud team can look into that for you. Since this question was originally posted the system has changed a bit and so you will need to reach out to support to access that.
Please contact them there, provide the problematic email address, and they can check the logs to see what's going on.
Regards,
Shannon
