Need to remove the Oracle JDK on the server that ElasticSearch is using

Joe Roper June 8, 2022

Both Confluence and Bitbucket are using the AdoptiumJDK that is bundled, but ElasticSearch was using an old Java version (jdk1.8.0_74), after I un-installed both that version and the newer version (_221) that was on the server, ElasticSearch will not start.  Tried finding documentation for this but was unsuccessful.  How do I point ElasticSearch at the JRE that Confluence and Bitbucket is using?

Thanks for your consideration!

Update:  Recreated the service, now getting this Windows Event Viewer log:

The Atlassian Bitbucket Elasticsearch 7.10.2 (BITBUCKET_SEARCH) service terminated with the following service-specific error:
Incorrect function.
