In order to see the branch permissions and other administrative settings of a repo, a user needs admin privileges. I would like to let user consult those setting, without granting them the ability to change it (read-only).
Is this in any way possible, or is there any plan to add this feature? I'm uncomfortable to grant repository delete privilege to a user that have to verify branching permissions in my repository.
Even just the possibility to call the GETs on the API containing non-sensitive data would be a blessing.
Hello @Jean-Alexandre Beaumont,
I understand the use case you described, however unfortunately it is not currently possible with Bitbucket. Even to read branch restriction settings admin rights are required at the moment.
Please feel free to raise a change request for this in our issue tracker.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Cheers,
Daniil
Thanks for your answer Daniil, I'll take a look in the issue tracker!

That issue seems indeed very similar but is for Bitbucket Server (BSERV project), which is a separate product. Please create an issue for Bitbucket Cloud in BCLOUD project.
Cheers,
Daniil
