Is there a REST API to commit a set of files to a repository?

Looking for a REST API to commit a set of files to a given repository? I could only find the end point to Fetch commits. Im currently using bitbucket server v8.0.7.

If there is no direct end point to create a commit, is there any other way to push set of files to bitbucket-server?

I found a similar question here , but using Local GIT will not work in my case, so looking for some ideas.
