There is no docker image for using the mb-gcc compiler. Hence, is it possible to connect the BitBucket pipelines with my external Xilinx gcc compiler that is present in the Linux environment

Yes, while a bit uncommon, it certainly looks possible. Commonly just creating the Docker image is well accepted.
