Is bitbucket server 6.2.0 compatible with Git 2.23.0 ?

Hi, we would like to update our Git installation on the Bitbucket server 6.2.0 to Git 2.23.0

It's not registered on https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver062/supported-platforms-969537576.html

Does anyone know when we can expect Git 2.23.0 support?

Hi Bart, 

Bitbucket Server 6.2.0 doesn't support git 2.23.0, so we'd advise not to upgrade git. However, Bitbucket server 6.6 that has been released today does support git 2.23.0 as you can see in the Release notes.

Hi,

I don't think you can expect support of this version to BB 6.2.0. You can expect it only for some future version as 6.5.0 is only supporting 2.22.0+ as newest.
