Hello,

I'm trying to migrate a repository from a self-hosted bitbucket server to a cloud based repository but the importation never finish (20h for the moment).

The progress window shows:

14:39:38 git import for: http://xxx
14:39:38 Cloning http://xxx...
14:39:38 Cloning into bare repository 'xxx'...
14:39:42 remote: Counting objects: 182010, done.
14:39:49 remote: Compressing objects: 66% ..... then 100% after some minutes

But nothing more.

The repo size is a little less than 1 GB.

I've done the same in Azure Dev Ops that I'm testing in parallel and the importation has succeeded after some minutes.

Is there something I can do to unfreeze the state of my repository import in bitbucket.org ?

Thank you for your help.

Hi @sebastienca, welcome to the Community!

It definitely shouldn't take that long for a repo that size. I have checked your Bitbucket Cloud account and found a repo that hasn't finished importing, so I'm assuming that's the failed one.

Have you tried the import again? And can you confirm that you're following the steps at Import a repository? Do you see any other errors in the log in Bitbucket Server?

If you're still having issues, please let us know so we can investigate this further with you.

Best regards,

Ana
