My supervisor is trying to add me to a project repository, but I do not get an invite email.
I used another account, created an empty repository there, invited my primary account -- the issue remained the same. There is definitely some problem with notifications from bitbucket
P.S. I checked the spam folder.

There is currently an active incident involving email notifications, have a look at https://status.atlassian.com/. I would also recommend subscribing to updates so you will be notified of future issues.
