I cant receive Invitation email...

Hi!

 

My team manager invited me to a repository, but I never received the invitation email. I checked into spam and there is nothing there. The email address is correct and he tried resending it multiple times but to no avail.

Can someone help me on this?

Hi @predrag.djordjevic ,

I assume that this is for Bitbucket Cloud?

I checked your email in our system and I saw a hard bounce event created on 3rd March 2021, with the message:

550: 550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. Please try double-checking the recipient's email address for typos or unnecessary spaces

It is possible that the invitation was sent before the email account was operational or there was some issue with your mail server. The hard bounce response comes from your mail server and informs us that the email does not exist and in this case it is placed in a suppression list, as we no longer try to resend to non-existing emails.

I went ahead and removed your email from the suppression list, could you please ask your team manager to resend the invitation now?

A new invitation needs to be sent, as the previous ones were dropped.
