Hello!
I just changed a repository from private to public and it's now available to everyone. All source code is available and commits are listed without problems.
But now, when I try to access a specific commit without authentication, a popup appears asking me to sign in.
Is this the expected behavior?
I think everything should be visible and accessible to anonymous users when changing a repository visibility to public.
Let me know if you need further details.
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out. This is not expected behavior, the diff of a commit should be visible to anonymous users as well and there should be no prompt to sign in.
I went ahead and created a bug report in our issue tracker:
Our development team tracks bugs over there and will post an update on that issue when it is fixed. Please note though that we don't provide ETAs and bug fixing is implemented as per our policy here.
You can add yourself as a watcher (by selecting the Start watching this issue link in the bug report) if you'd like to get notified via email on updates. You can also select the link This affects my team to indicate you are affected by this issue.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to let me know.
Kind regards,
Theodora
