How to migrate a branch to a new repository

Hi,

I have one, say, repo1 and a branch called branch1. I want to migrate branch1 to a new repository with all its history (basically separate branch1 from repo1). How can I do that?

Tried with all the methods online, but still can't figure out the right way to do it. Thanks in advance.

btw, is there any way to do it in sourcetree?
