How to make the "Default File Viewer" button visible for all users when using File Viewer plug in?

Hi,

I have added the File Viewer in order to view 3D files plug in to our Bitbucket account and activated for all repositories. When I try to view a stl file, file view options appear and I am able to change from "default file viewer" to "view as 3D model". But other users cannot view this option including repository admin.

How can I solve this problem?

Hi @Özgecan Sarı and welcome to the community.

This plugin is not developed by Atlassian, but based on my testing, it looks that each user may need to install it in their personal workspace in order to be able to view the option (in any workspace).

By 'personal workspace' I mean the workspace that was created automatically for each Bitbucket user, when they signed up for a Bitbucket Cloud account.

Each user can find that if they:

  1. Log in to https://bitbucket.org/
  2. Select their avatar > All workspaces
  3. They can find there their personal workspace, it should have the same name as their username, unless they changed it. Select that workspace.
  4. Select Settings > Marketplace
  5. Find and install the File Viewer plugin

Could you ask your users to try that, and see if they can view this option afterwards?
