How to insert latex into confluence page?

Jordan Makansi January 31, 2018

I cannot find the latex macro for confluence pages.  When I try to autocomplete I get the following: Screen Shot 2018-01-31 at 5.00.39 PM.png, which implies that there is no latex macro.

Then when I open the "macro browser"  I search for "latex" and nothing comes up.

How do I access the latex macro?  Or is there a way to do this in markdown?

Thanks.

As an admin, check what LaTeX add-ons you have installed.

Confluence does not do it off-the-shelf (which is a shame, but understandable as, despite it being horribly useful, most Confluence users wouldn't quite get it), so we need to look at how you've added it to Confluence.

only admins can do that?

You need to be an admin to install add-ons, but once you install one, users will be able to use it.
