How to give branch permission to a project/repository "access key"?

I'm using the project "access key" feature to have jenkins fetch from our stash repository.

I gave the 'access key' write permission, however when I added branch permissions and allowed creation of tags only to a specific group of users, the access key could not longer push tags.

my question is:

How can I use 'branch permissions' and still be able to push with the 'access key'?

I'm using stash v2.12.0

update - this functionality seems unsupported at the moment

Thanks, Roi. I see the STASH-5009 issue is still open. Did you work around this with new User accounts? Please let us know if you found a better solution. Rex @ UCSC
