How to get a pull request URL that doesn't contain repository name

Tom March 10, 2021

I am looking for a way to create/generate/get a URL link to a specific pull request that was created but I want to guarantee that the link does not contain the repo name but still land at the same location (the overview page of the pull request)

For example, usually the link is something like <server-address>/projects/<proj-key>/repos/<repo-name>/pull-requests/<Id>/overview

I am looking for a way to natively masquerade the url to not expose the repository name in the link, by using a uuid or something but I am not sure how to produce such a result without starting up a new URL shortener service.
