We want to generate a service account, using which we can trigger and configure pipeline.
Can you help me in generating it?
Hi, @Mbhaskara_rao, welcome to the community!
Currently, Bitbucket Cloud does not have service accounts, but we have the following feature request to have this functionality implemented. I'd advise you to add yourself as a watcher to it to receive any updates and add any comments you think are necessary and/or important to the feature request.
In addition, more information about how Atlassian implements New Features can be found on this page.
As for now, we advised you to try one of the following solutions to your workflow, while the feature above is still in development:
Create a regular account to be used as a "service account" OR
Use an existing account, create an App password + add this app password as secret environment variables in your builds
Please feel free to share any additional questions or concerns regarding this case.
Kind regards,
Caroline
