How can I share epics across multiple projects?

We have multiple projects set up that represent different functional areas within our products' development. A feature-level epic needs to be broken down into stories that will be completed by different teams. Currently, each team has its own JIRA project and we need for those projects to "see" the epics so stories can be assigned to different projects. Is this possible, or is there a better way to accomplish this.

You can link any story to any Epics, assuming you have the ability to see it. If you are specifically talking about scrum boards, you'd need to modify the filter to pull in all Epics as part of the filter.
