How / Where to get a Webhook URL for Bitbucket Cloud ?

Ilgar Ilyasov October 17, 2019

There is an option to add Webhooks. But there isn't any useful documentation. I need a bitbucket url to add to AppCenter. Where can I get it ?

Hello @Ilgar Ilyasov,

I didn't quite get your question. Bitbucket webhooks are outbound: whenever something happens in Bitbucket, it can be configured to send webhooks to external systems. Trigger a build in CI tool, for example.

So, Bitbucket should know the URL of the external system, not the other way round.

Let me know if I got you wrong.

Cheers,
Daniil

Hi @Daniil Penkin

Thanks for the answer. I thought Bitbucket has incoming Webhooks.

May I ask what is the workflow you would like to set up? That is, what would you use incoming webhooks for, if they existed? Maybe there's another way to configure what you're trying to achieve.

Cheers,
Daniil
