Hi @Admin Admin and welcome to the community!

What URL do you see in the address bar on your browser when you get this error? Please replace any workspace IDs, project names etc with dummy values prior to sharing. I would just like to see the format of the URL. In case the URL includes a username, can you try removing it and loading the page again?

If the issue persists, could you please provide the following info:

  1. Open Developer tools on your browser
  2. Then, load the page that gives you this error
  3. Afterwards, select the Network tab in Developer tools and look for any requests with 4xx or 5xx error
  4. Then select each of these requests and click the Headers tab on the right panel
  5. Do you see a field there named x-sentry-id or sentry-id? If so, could you please provide the value of this field?

Could you also please let me know:

  • What kind of browser are you using and what version?
  • Is the issue reproducible in an Incognito/Private window of his browser with all add-ons disabled?

Kind regards,
Theodora

Hi @Admin Admin ,

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Based on the limited amount of information you've provided I'm assuming you're trying to call a REST API endpoint using the wrong type of authentication.

Take a look in the documentation on how to do this correctly: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/basic-auth-for-rest-apis/

Cheers,
Peter
