F5 (refresh) does not work when viewing .md file

On bitbucket cloud, I am viewing an .md file on the master branch. I update this file by pulling a changed version from my local repository to the bitbucket cloud. I now expect that, if I press F5 (refresh) on the browser (Chrome) that I see the new version.

Instead I only see the new version if I go to the branches dropdown and re-select "master".

The same behaviour can be seen if I update the file online on a second session.

I noticed that this is non-intuitive for a lot of people (also experienced developers), so I'm not the only one who finds this awkward.

Hello,

You are correct that the experience here is a little confusing. Since you're always viewing source at a specific commit and not actually at a branch level, refreshing the page will always show you the same content. This is on our radar, so hopefully we can make this less confusing in the future.
