Creating a new repo - bug (?)

Hey, I’m new to Bitbucket and I’m trying to create a repo here that will later be connected to an existing GitHub repo. Unfortunately, each time I try to create a repo on here, the create page refreshes with an alert that also clears the Project Name field:

Initially I thought perhaps it had to be a unique name, but I’ve tried dozens of names that are unique and random, never able to pass this stage and it’s totally unclear as to why that is. Is this a bug, or is there something I’m missing?

Hi Kevin,

Welcome to the Bitbucket Cloud community! :)

I have attempted to reproduce this issue on my end based on your description - but was unable to. The project selection dropdown works as intended and I am able to create a repository.

Please clear your browser cache and try again, if this still does not work - attempt to perform this action in a different browser entirely with add-ons disabled (or Incognito mode if using Chrome) and let me know how this goes.

Cheers!

- Ben (Bitbucket Cloud Support)
